Part time (Two days per week)
South West London
An opportunity to fill a vital role in a successful organisation, which seeks to redress injustice and stand in solidarity and partnership with those facing discrimination and/or persecution due to their religion.
Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) is a Christian organisation working for religious freedom through advocacy and human rights, in the pursuit of justice.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Campaign Data Entry Assistant to join our data processing team for the duration of our new and exciting campaign for 2012: Cry Freedom. CSW’s Cry Freedom campaign focuses on bringing hope and freedom to religious minorities suffering under repressive regimes throughout the world.
Responsibilities for the role include: the accurate and efficient entry of campaign data onto our fundraising database, The Raiser’s Edge, including personal supporter data; processing new supporter letters and providing basic administrative support for the data processing team.
The candidate will need to be committed to accuracy with a good eye for detail and have an ability to follow processes and procedures. Our ideal candidate will be someone who can provide a consistent and reliable level of data input; who will take seriously their role as a key data steward within the organisation and seek to maintain the highest levels of data quality. A good working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
This role is vital to the smooth flow of data within our internal systems which underpin the communication and fundraising efforts of the organisation and ensure the success of our new campaign, strengthening and growing the relationship between CSW and its supporters.
It is essential that the candidate is a committed Christian in agreement with CSW’s vision of ministry. [This post falls within the definition of a Genuine Occupational Requirement of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003.]
