Pray for Qamar David, sentenced to life in prison under Pakistan’s Blasphemy Laws
Last week we asked you to pray for Qamar David, a Pakistani Christian who was on trial for alleged blasphemy against the Prophet Mohammed. CSW is sad to report that he was sentenced last Thursday to life imprisonment. The verdict has been described as “biased and prejudiced” by a source close to Qamar.
Thank you for your prayers for the safety of Qamar and his lawyer, Parvez Choudhry – we’re delighted that they were not attacked physically. Please keep praying for Qamar and Parvez, as they plan to appeal and their security is still a concern.

CSW sources on the ground in Nigeria have produced a documentary about the events that took place earlier this year in Jos. Attacks on Christians resulted in hundreds of deaths, and displaced almost 24,000 people.
