Tell your MP you're concerned about religious freedom

show upWhatever you think of this year's election result, one thing is clear: it’s never been more urgent for the UK government to speak up on religious freedom.

In the past months, we’ve seen religious freedom appear regularly in the headlines of major news outlets around the world. From the atrocities perpetrated by Daesh (Islamic State) across the Middle East, to the horrific religious persecution Eritreans are fleeing, to the plight of the Rohingya Muslims in Burma – these are all situations where we know two things:

1. The suffering of the people involved is immense, and no words can do it justice.
2. The UK government can make a real difference by speaking out publicly and taking action.

With that in mind, please email your MP to tell them why you think religious freedom is so important.

Westminster action

Your MP is your elected representative in parliament – whether you voted for them or not. As such, they have a responsibility to represent the issues that concern their constituents. But if you don’t tell them you’re concerned about religious freedom, how will they know?

Tell your MP

"By praying, protesting, providing and proclaiming, individuals and churches are helping to make religious freedom a reality. Please join them and get involved!"
