Your lobbying brings hope for Orissa
Last week, a delegation from the European Union will visit Orissa state in India, to see the devastating effects of the anti-Christian violence in the region. The letters you’ve sent to your MPs and MEPs have played a really important part in raising EU and parliamentary awareness of this situation.
In the run-up to the visit, the authorities forced over 90 victims out of their makeshift shelters in a market-place. Please pray that the EU delegation will see a true picture of the situation. But don’t stop there, please keep lobbying your MEPs to see justice, reconciliation and rehabilitation in Orissa!

Together we can bring the truth to light
Thank you to all of you who joined efforts to see accurate reporting of the recent religiously-motivated violence in Jos, Nigeria. Over 150 emails were sent, and as a direct result of your lobbying, CSW was invited to give an interview on the BBC. Please continue to pray for the people of Jos, thousands of whom have been displaced because of the violence.
