Submission to 126th Human Rights Committee

Introduction 

Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) is a human rights organisation specialising in the right to freedom of religion or belief (FoRB). 

CSW has been monitoring and researching developments in the Republic of India for over 20 years. During this time CSW has conducted regular fact-finding visits and this submission draws on the evidence documented during these visits, as well as from information provided by human rights defenders and others working in India. 

CSW wishes to bring the following concerns and recommendations to the Committee’s attention, in reference to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
