As we look forward to celebrating Christmas, let us remember Christians around the world who don’t have the same freedom as we do. Join with us as we seek God’s favour, blessing and guidance for CSW’s work in 2012.

This week, please:

• Thank You Lord for the way You have used us to be a voice for the voiceless this year. Please continue to use us as a strong voice for freedom in 2012.
• Pray for all those who are leading churches through times of persecution.
• Give thanks for the way the No Way Out campaign has given a voice to Egyptian Christians this year.
• Pray rest and peace for CSW’s advocacy staff members who are regularly exposed to harrowing testimonies.
• As the anniversary of the bombing in Alexandria approaches, pray for Egyptians mourning the loss of loved ones, and for the authorities to launch an investigation into the event.
• Remember those Christians and churches who are particularly vulnerable to attacks over Christmas.
• On Christmas Eve, pray that Christians imprisoned for their faith will be blessed with peace.
