Prayer and protest for Eritrea

Some church leaders have now been detained for over 20 years in appalling conditions.

They are being held incommunicado – without contact with their loved ones or the outside world. And they are being held indefinitely – with no charge, no trial, and no indication of when they will be released. Two decades is too long.

You are invited to our annual prayer and protest vigil for Eritrea, together with Church in Chains (Ireland), the Eritrean Orthodox Church in the UK, Human Rights Concern-Eritrea and Release Eritrea.

Thursday 21 May 2026, 3.30pm

Embassy of Eritrea, 96 White Lion St., London, N1 9PF

You can read about last year's event and the letter we delivered to the embassy here

If you can’t make it in person, you can still stand in solidarity on social media using our protest pack or download our one-page prayer guide to pray right now.
