{"id":26085,"date":"2012-02-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-02-12T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/csw-yeo.1wp.site\/prayer\/csw-in-action-397\/"},"modified":"2026-09-18T21:56:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T20:56:26","slug":"csw-in-action-397","status":"publish","type":"prayer","link":"https:\/\/www.csw.org.uk\/es\/prayer\/csw-in-action-397\/","title":{"rendered":"CSW in action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>The Communist country of Cuba systematically yet subtly persecutes Christians, and church leaders are facing the worst intimidation in twenty years.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christians, and church leaders are facing the worst intimidation in twenty years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Father of the whole world, we thank you for the faith of your children in Cuba, who live out their beliefs under daily threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This week, please:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Thank God for the extraordinary testimonies of Christians such as Pastor Mario Felix Lleonart Barroso, whose words inspire us in our own walk.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Pray that Pastor Lleonart would continue to stand strong in his faith, and be filled to overflowing with joy and hope.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Lift up to God all the Christians in Cuba who experience discrimination and harassment on a daily basis in their schools and workplaces.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Ask God to give wisdom, insight and inspiration to Christian leaders, as they negotiate the politics around them and try to do their best for their congregations.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Thank God that Christians in Cuba continue to be inspired by God&#8217;s instructions to love, not hate our enemies.
