Please work in the hearts of the government to bring about a future that includes peace, democracy and respect for religious freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This week, please:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Give thanks for the tremendous growth in all church denominations and for the impact the Church is having in reaching out to the marginalised.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Praise God that the Church is a vessel to bring His hope to the country. Ask God to give its leaders wisdom and courage to stand for His values.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Lift up Fidel and Raul Castro and their families. Pray for other powerful government ministers and ask God to change their hearts so that they will work for a peaceful transition to democracy while protecting the rights of their population.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Pray for the young people of Cuba, many of whom have little hope for their future and are turning to alcohol, drugs and other destructive behaviour.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Pray for Christians who have been targeted because of their faith and actions rooted in their faith.
