CSW has worked in this country for many years alongside partners such as Michelle Chaudhry, who works on minority rights with the Cecil &#038; Iris Chaudhry Foundation. As tensions have, unfortunately, risen in Pakistan, we\u2019ve been right there to help those caught up in it in the most effective way we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Sunday 9 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time of writing, there has been an outbreak of attacks and the country is on high alert. Please pray that God\u2019s peace would settle on the country and that these attacks would not become a regular occurrence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Monday 10 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 17 February a bomb exploded at a Sufi shrine, killing 88 people and injuring hundreds more. It\u2019s Pakistan\u2019s deadliest terror attack in years: please pray for physical and emotional healing for the survivors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Tuesday 11 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This bombing was, unfortunately, not an isolated incident: we have also received reports of an attack on protesters in Lahore, a bombing in Quetta that killed two police officers and an explosion in Peshawar. Today, please pray for healing and peace in Pakistan during this time of deep turmoil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Wednesday 12 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite these ongoing dangers, human rights defenders put their lives at risk on a daily basis campaigning for freedom. They&#8217;re threatened, kidnapped, attacked and even killed. Join us in praying for all those who defend human rights in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Thursday 13 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We particularly want to pray today for Cecil Chaudhry Jr and staff at the National Commission for Justice and Peace, a key CSW partner organisation that does vital work promoting and protecting religious ethnic and minority rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Friday 14 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please pray for young Christian and Hindu girls \u2013 hundreds every year \u2013 who are abducted, forced to marry and convert to Islam. Most never return to their families. Pray for protection, strength and courage for them and their families, and for legal changes to protect these vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Saturday 15 July<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i>Father God, today we pray for Pakistan. Bring your peace to this country, we pray: comfort those who are in pain or mourning following the series of attacks earlier this year, and uphold those who are working to make things better.
