The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them because they take refuge in him. (Psalm 37:39-40)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><b>Monday 24 December<\/b><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. (Psalm 9: 8-9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><b>Tuesday 25 December<\/b><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><b>Wednesday 26 December<\/b><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation.\u201d (2 Samuel 22:3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><b>Thursday 27 December<\/b><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSurely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.\u201d (Isaiah 12:2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><b>Friday 28 December<\/b><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. (Nahum 1:7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><b>Saturday 29 December<\/b><\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord God, on this final week of Advent we remember the people of India and commit them to you: especially those who are still awaiting justice after surviving religiously-motivated attacks. Move in power and grant them justice, Lord, we pray.
