Additionally, underage non-Muslim schoolgirls in Nigeria\u2019s shari\u2019a states are regularly abducted, forcibly converted and forced into marriage, often with the connivance of local traditional religious authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Thursday, 16 June, is the Day of the African Child. Join us in praying for the return of all abducted children, and for Nigeria\u2019s children to be able to enjoy their childhood free of fear, and pursue their education in safety and peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pictured on this page are the relatives of just a few of the children whose cases we are working on alongside CSW Nigeria.
