Over the past few years, CSW’s advocacy officers have advocated for a set of guidelines to inform the EU on how to prevent and address religious freedom violations around the world. These guidelines are based on international human rights principles of equality and non-discrimination.

As we go to press we’re expecting final confirmation that the guidelines will be adopted in the coming months. This represents a major step forward for CSW’s work at the EU!

• Pray that EU officials would acknowledge the vital importance of religious freedom and that foreign policy decisions and actions would be informed by these guidelines,
• Pray that the guidelines would be used effectively by policy-makers,
