We have given each prayer slot a specific area of focus if you would like some ideas. Find out more:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time slots 0:00 \u2013 4:00 and 12:00 \u2013 16:00<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Political and religious leaders:<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For God to raise up political leaders of all religions who will work for justice and truth;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Prime Minister and Cabinet to uphold their promises to protect religious minorities;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Minister for Human Rights and Minorities in Punjab Province<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Christians in prominent positions within Pakistani public life;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For all religious leaders to preach messages of religious tolerance rather than prejudice;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For international leaders to speak out to challenge voices of religious hatred and work with Pakistan to help create a culture of religious tolerance rather than intolerance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time slots 4:00 \u2013 8:00 and 16:00 \u2013 20:00 <\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Religious minorities:<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the residents of the attacks on Joseph Colony who lost everything and for whom the fear and trauma lingers to this day;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For other Christian and religious minority communities who have been the victims of violent attacks triggered by voices of religious hatred;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For relationships between faith communities in Pakistan, particularly for the residents of Joseph Colony and their Muslim neighbours;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That God would lift the fear that religious minorities live under in Pakistan;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those secret believers in Pakistan who feel they cannot reveal their faith publicly for fear of reprisals;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That the blasphemy laws wouldn\u2019t be used to settle scores and become a trigger for religious hatred and violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time slots 8:00 \u2013 12:00 and 20:00 \u2013 0:00<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activists for change:<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That CSW\u2019s Retune campaign would effectively challenge voices of religious hatred in Pakistan and make a difference in the lives of religious minorities;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For CSW\u2019s partners who are working to change the mindsets and behaviour of religious leaders to build a society with tolerance at the centre;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For civil society groups, activists and the next generation of leaders in Pakistan who are seeking to bring about change in a very difficult setting;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That the biased curricula at schools and colleges would be tackled to promote a culture of religious and social tolerance;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That hate speech in social media is discouraged and the perpetrators are brought to justice;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a National Council to be created to monitor and safeguard the rights of religious minorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
