But, we believe that through prayer, partnership and advocacy we can help to create a different future for Pakistan \u2013 one which turns the founding vision of Pakistan into reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This week, please:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Pray for Parvez Choudhry and his family, who have had to leave Pakistan due to serious concerns for their safety.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Lift Cecil Chaudhry to the Lord, as he continues to suffer ill health. Pray for him to be restored to complete health.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Pray that the worldwide media would be unbiased and accurate in their reporting of events in Pakistan.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Ask God to continue to comfort the family of Shahbaz Bhatti, the Christian human rights activist and Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs, who was assassinated in March.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Ask God to continue to move hearts in the UK and around the world to pray for the country of Pakistan.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Ask God to strengthen the hearts of Pakistani Muslims who have converted to Christianity: to give them courage as they live out their faith in difficult, sometimes life-threatening circumstances.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At CSW, we&#8217;re concerned by the grip that extremism has on the nation of Pakistan and the impact on religious minorities in particular.
