On that day, the Ladies in White will be preparing for another Sunday of peaceful protest &#8211; and risking imprisonment.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p> <p>Every Sunday, these Cuban women protest against the imprisonments of their family members by attending Mass wearing white dresses to symbolise peace, and then silently marching through the streets. Over the years, their peaceful actions have led to many of their members being threatened and arrested.<\/p> <p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cuba street scene\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/a4bdd9386805de3543f21f44d92626d9.jpg\" style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 0px;
