That\u2019s why this week we\u2019re looking back at the gifts God has given us over the past year: and we think about those who aren\u2019t expecting anything this year at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Sunday 18 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gifts won\u2019t get to those in prison, but a card might! Our Connect &#038; Encourage resource contains a list of all the people who would love to hear from you. Today, choose a person to write to and send them a card, praying for them as you write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Monday 19 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, please join us in thanking God for everyone who donated to CSW so generously over the past year. We are always so grateful for donations of any amount: apart from prayer, it\u2019s the very best way you can support our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Tuesday 20 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pray for those who won\u2019t get to spend Christmas with their loved ones, such as Alimujiang Yimit in China. Ask God to bless and encourage them, and pray that they would miraculously have the opportunity to see their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Wednesday 21 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s pray for all the children who won\u2019t be able to exchange gifts this year because they have been forced to leave their homes due to religious intolerance: particularly children in Mexico like Bartolo, who got kicked out of school because of his faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Thursday 22 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, please pray for our partners CSW-Nigeria: that God would gift them with the funds and support they need to carry out their vital work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Friday 23 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.\u201d Isaiah 9:6. As we remember the gift of Jesus at Christmas, pray that the gift of peace would come to those who celebrate in fear &#038; in secret this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Saturday 24 December<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord, on Christmas Eve we thank you for the gift of your son who came to be with us. As families gather all over the world to celebrate, please comfort and encourage those who must observe tomorrow alone or in secret. Watch over them, we pray.
