Sadly, this is the reality for many Christians and other religious minorities in China: please remember them in your prayers this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Sunday 7 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Living Stone Church is a fast-growing church in China. Several church members have been targeted and the government has tried to force Living Stone to close: please pray for them today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Monday 8 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please pray for Pastor Yang Hua (pictured), who led Living Stone Church until he was arrested in early 2016, and his lawyers have told us that he is suffering very poor health as a result of being ill treated in detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Tuesday 9 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, pray for Pastor Yang\u2019s wife, Wang Hongwu. She\u2019s seen her share of harassment too, and wasn\u2019t even allowed to attend her husband\u2019s trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Wednesday 10 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wang Yao, the friend of a Living Stone Church member, has been tried for illegally acquiring and disseminating state secrets in connection to the case. Pray for Wang today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Thursday 11 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zhang Xiuhong is a deacon at the church and the church\u2019s accountant. She was arrested in July 2015 for \u2018financial crimes\u2019 and has been sentenced to five years in prison. She has two children, the youngest just three years old, and she also takes care of her elderly mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Friday 12 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s not just Christians who face harassment in China: the government targets Uyghur Muslims, Falun Gong practitioners and other religious minorities, too. Remember them in your prayers today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Saturday 13 May<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i>Father God, today we pray for everyone in China who\u2019s at risk because of their beliefs. We particularly remember Living Stone Church: protect the church and its members, we pray.
