He is being held on suspicion of \u2018subversion of state power\u2019, under \u2018Residential Surveillance in a Designated Location\u2019 (RSDL): this is essentially a form of enforced disappearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chang Weiping has been arbitrarily detained for his peaceful defence of human rights. He is at high risk of severe torture and ill-treatment.
