Prayer Diary Refugees

17 Jun 2018

This Wednesday (20 June) is UN Refugee Day, so were setting aside this week to pray for refugees. Religious intolerance is one of the root causes of the refugee crises in a number of the countries we work. Many vulnerable Christians and other religious minorities are forced to flee because their religion makes them a target for violent attacks, persecution or torture.

In April, you prayed for Eritrea: many Eritreans are forced to flee to escape the oppression of their country, despite a shoot to kill policy in effect on the border and a perilous journey ahead of them as they seek a place of safe refuge. Please pray for Eritrean refugees: that God would protect them on their journeys and deliver them to safety.

Pray for an end to this violence, and for the Rohingya to be receive desperately needed aid and food.
