Lord would You put compassion into the hearts of those in authority in China, so that when they hear stories of injustice, they will be moved to act to counter it.

This week, please:

• Pray for the other faiths groups suffering for their beliefs in China, including Falun Gong practitioners, one of whom dies in custody every three days, and the Ugyhur Muslims, who feel the government is obliterating their culture and identity as a people group.
• Pray for Alimujiang Yimiti who is serving a fifteen-year prison sentence because of his Christian faith.
• Pray for CSW’s team as we work with the UK government and at the EU, that any obstacles to our voice being heard will fall away.
• Pray that Shouwang Church in Beijing, would again be granted access to the building they had bought, that their leaders would be released from house arrest and that the harassment of the congregation would stop.
• Pray for Catholic Bishop Julius Jia Zhiguo who faces constant harassment because he will not join the official Catholic Church or hand over control of his orphanage to the local authorities.
• Pray for the region of Tibet, where not only are Buddhists severely oppressed, but house churches are also encountering increasing opposition.
