Lord, thank You so much for the breakthrough we saw at the UN, with 44 countries uniting to highlight Eritrea’s human rights record.

This week, please:

• Pray that the UN’s Human Rights Council, currently in session, would agree a binding resolution on Eritrea.
• Pray for the appointment of a UN independent expert to monitor Eritrea’s human rights situation on an ongoing basis.
• Pray for CSW and Human Rights Concern-Eritrea as we persuade UN Diplomats and officials of the importance of our issues.
• Thank God for Heiner Bielefeldt, UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief and his work in championing religious freedom at the UN.
• Pray that the UN’s Human Rights Council would be a place of genuine justice and godly change.
• Pray for patience and wisdom for all who work at the UN in the pursuit of justice.
