We recently organised a workshop for our Colombian partners to link up with our Peruvian partners and share each other’s experiences. Their staff are often overwhelmed by the trauma they deal with on a daily basis.

Please pray:

• Thank God that CSW was able to organise a meeting with Peruvian and Colombian Christians to share their stories of persecution, and how they have found ways to deal with it.
• For those people who have shared their experiences, ask God that they would be blessed and comforted by the experience.
• Pray that they would benefit from helpful, practical suggestions made by others who have suffered in similar ways.
• Pray that the staff of our partner organisations would have the strength to deal with all the traumatic stories they hear every day.
• Ask God to give wisdom and sensitivity to CSW staff as they work with people who have had extremely traumatic experiences, so that they can be a real comfort and strength.
• Ask God to bless CSW staff with discernment so that they can be effective and helpful in practical ways in the short term, as well as in working towards a long-term peaceful solution to the conflict.
• Ask God to bless CSW financially so we can continue our pioneering work which is really helping Colombian Christians to be victorious in the face of persecution.
