Use CSW’s Prayer diary each day to pray for those suffering for their faith and those standing up for justice.

This week, please pray:

• Praise God that Christian lawyer Gao Zhisheng is alive in Shaya prison, remote Xingjiang, after a long disappearance. Ask for courage and peace for his wife and daughter, Grace, in the USA, and pray for Gao’s release.
• Alimujiang Yimiti was imprisoned for fifteen years for “revealing state secrets”, although in reality he was jailed because of his faith (according to a UN working group). Pray for his health and release, his wife, Guliner, and two young sons.
• Rejoice that blind Christian activist Chen Guangchen has found sanctuary in USA; pray for protection for his relatives in China who have been attacked.
• Praise God that, after the authorities received many letters, Christian Tian Hongxia was released five months early.
• Ask God to protect Tulip-Award-winning lawyer, Ni Yulan, again imprisoned and sentenced to two years and eight months in jail for her human rights advocacy.
• Praise God for the release of Shi Enhao eighteen months early from his two-year re-education through labour sentence for “holding illegal religious meetings”.
• Pray that God would move in power to stop those in the Chinese Government who seek to close all underground protestant house churches.
