Iran executes more prisoners than any nation apart from China. Many members of ethnic minorities are currently on death row.

This week, please:

• Father, we pray for that you would convict the hearts of the Iranian spiritual and political leaders, causing them to reconsider the harsh use of the death penalty, and to even overturn sentences that have been passed unfairly .
• As the campaign against house church member’s continues, pray that Iranian Christians would overcome any fear by keeping their eyes firmly fixed on God during this difficult season.
• Pray for the safety of Christians who have escaped to nearby countries, but are still under threat.
• Ask God to grant peace to all families affected by arrests and interrogations in the past year.
• Ask God to provide financially for those who have been forced to post excessive bail payments.
• Pray that the Iranian Government would cease its inflammatory rhetoric against minority religions.
• Pray for all religious minorities in Iran, including that the seven imprisoned Baha’i leaders would be released.
