Its been an incredibly exciting year for us, as thousands of you took part in the Operation 18 campaign to uphold the right to choose your religion! You stunned us with a huge response when we asked you to email the Iranian President urging him to release political prisoners. And all over the country, at church events, summer festivals and prayer events its been great to meet you and talk to you about the campaign.

If you’re in London this week, come along to our National Conference on Saturday to be among the first to hear about the next stage of Operation 18. See you there!

This week, let’s pray for:

• Pray for Christians and other religious minorities in Iran, with their religious activities under tight surveillance;
• Ask God to give wisdom to the international community as they continue to press Iran on the treatment of religious minorities;
• Pray for Baroness Warsi at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as she continues to highlight the importance of religious freedom internationally;
• Pray for the UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, Heiner Bielefeldt, as he champions freedom of religion;
• Ask God to protect Christians in rural Vietnam who are under pressure to recant their faith;
• Pray for a change of legislation in several states of India, where anticonversion laws threaten the peaceful sharing of faith and are abused to justify violence against Christians.
• Lent reflection: Read Deuteronomy 16:20 and pray for justice to become a reality for the people we work for across the world.
