Lord we think of those who suffer in prison for their faith, may they know You with them through everything and have Your perfect peace that passes all understanding.

This week, please:

• Pray for the government in China, that they would acknowledge and allow Christians to be a positive part of the harmonious society it aims to build.
• Pray for the official Church in China, the Three Self Patriotic Movement, pray that God’s spirit will continue to be in their midst despite the many restrictions.
• Pray for the unregistered ‘house churches’ in China. Pray for protection against corrupt and unjust regional authorities.
• Thank God for the unexpected release of Pastor Shi Enhao earlier this year. Pray that God will bless him and his family as they are reunited.
• Pray for the Christian human rights lawyer, Gao Zhisheng, who is reportedly now in prison. Pray that God will sustain him and comfort his family.
• Pray for CSW’s team as we develop our advocacy strategy to best promote religious freedom in China.
