In the week that marks the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, please use the IDOP prayer to pray for freedom for all who suffer persecution and oppression.

This year, for IDOP, CSW is praying for Christians living under the cruel grip of repressive regimes in Burma, China, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran and North Korea.

Let’s join together in praying the IDOP prayer every day this week to Pray Freedom.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for the hope that we have in Christ. Thank you that Christ came to set the captives free. Grant freedom to those living under the cruel grip of repressive regimes. Give them courage, strength and hope instead of despair. Bring freedom and peace to Burma, China, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran and North Korea. Empower us to bring freedom in place of oppression. Open our hearts to serve those who are persecuted. Guide us in our prayers and actions on their behalf. Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen
