North Korea is one of the world’s most repressive regimes, where Christians and others suffer grinding persecution. Lift them up in fervent prayer this fortnight.

This week, please:

• Almighty God, thank you so much for your children in North Korea. Please help us to help them in their struggles, through prayer and action.
• Pray that the truth about the situation in North Korea would be revealed to the world. Ask God to make CSW’s work in this area even more effective.
• Ask God to strengthen the hearts of Christians in North Korea, as they hold onto their faith in the face of continuous threat.
• Pray for those in labour camps who are forced to watch executions, that their hearts and minds would be healed of the trauma they have endured.
• Pray that God would reveal the truth of who he is to non-Christians in North Korea, and that they would not be brainwashed by the regime’s negative propaganda about Christianity.
• Pray for all the refugees who have escaped North Korea, but are still in danger on the China border. Pray that they will find a safe place to live.
• Ask God to open up the nation of North Korea so that God’s justice, peace and freedom will reign.
