We’re privileged to have some amazing leaders in this organisation – people who work tirelessly for religious freedom all over the world! We’d love you to take this week to join us in praying for them, as we head into a new year full of exciting new challenges for CSW.

Before anything else, please pray that all CSW staff would honour God this year and walk with him wherever the coming months and years may take us! Wisdom, protection and courage are great: but they can only come through knowing God first.

Today, please pray for our senior leadership team as they consider how to lead CSW in 2017, and how we can work best to advance the cause of religious freedom.

CSW works all over the world – it’s the nature of our job, after all – so today please pray for our partners in other countries, especially Rev Yunusa of CSW-Nigeria and Michelle Chaudhry in Pakistan. Pray that God would bless them and their work in this coming year.

Today, please pray for the Finance team as they help plan CSW’s budget and how we can most effectively use the resources God has gifted us. Pray that they would have wisdom and good stewardship of what we have so generously been given.

As 2017 starts, let’s also pray for our board of Trustees – that they would have wisdom and energy as they meet to plan the way forward for CSW.

Please pray for Mervyn and Stuart: they’re often the public face of the organisation, and they appreciate your prayers and support so much. They told us they’re humbled to know that you are petitioning God on their behalf!

Lord, when we look back at the past year we are humbled to see your power displayed in all the ways you have answered our prayers! Thank you so much for all you have done for CSW, including giving us such talented and dedicated leaders. Please guide them in this coming year, and let them know the strong presence of their heavenly Father as they work for religious freedom. Amen.
