Lord, please encourage the staff at NCEASL (CSW’s partner in Sri Lanka) and bless their work.

This week, please:

• Pray for the protection of Sri Lankan human rights defenders and journalists who live in constant fear of abduction.
• Pray that Sri Lanka’s Universal Periodic Review at the UN would extend human rights in the country.
• Pray for reconciliation among ethnic and religious groups, and for long lasting peace and justice.
• Pray for the Government of Sri Lanka, that they would do justice.
• Pray for the children who have been refused school places or ridiculed by teachers because of their faith.
• Pray for the Christians in Deniyaya, who have suffered violence and intimidation recently, and who are fearful of further attacks and intimidation.
