You may have already heard of the death of our Special Ambassador, Rev Stuart Windsor, who passed away at his home on 17 September. As tributes and messages poured in, we were reminded again of how special a man Stuart was, with an enormous heart for God’s people and a deep and genuine love of Jesus. Stuart touched so many lives over the last quarter of a century of working for CSW: his loss is sorely felt. 

Each day this week features a tribute from someone who knew Stuart. Please use each tribute to inspire you to give thanks for his legacy and to pray for his widow Ethel, their children Elizabeth and Stuart, and their grandchildren.

“When I met Stuart at CSW he made me feel at home immediately. He did his best to speak Russian to me and he knew all Russian villages better than I did! I will never forget the words of encouragement he has given to me over the last 12 years of knowing him. When I needed his advice or help he was always there to help. Lord of all comfort, thank you so much for the life of your servant Stuart, who now stands with you in glory. Thank you for everything that he achieved in the struggle against injustice, and for the thousands of lives he touched and people he loved. Please comfort, encourage and strengthen his family as they remember this extraordinary man. May his memory be a blessing. Amen.
