CSW - everyone free to believe

First ever CSW carol concert to be broadcast on Premier Christian Radio on December 22

7 Dec 2001

If you were unable to attend CSW's first ever carol concert, you can still hear it on the radio.

More than two hundred supporters went to the concert at St Michael's, Chester Square on December 4.

The service is to be broadcast on Premier Christian Radio on December 22 between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

Well-known evangelist and CSW Board of Reference
member J John spoke on the subject of Christmas Unwrapped and urged people to remember God's gift to us this Christmas.

He held the congregation captive with his stories of children's nativity plays and powerful gospel presentation.

He told the story of the little boy who had his revenge after being selected to play the innkeeper instead of Joseph.

When the Holy Family knocked on his door, he told Mary there was plenty of room for her, but not her husband.

J John ended his presentation with a prayer for those who wanted to re-commit their lives to Jesus this Christmas.

CSW's President, Baroness Caroline Cox, spoke about Christmas in Nagorno Karabakh and read out a tribute to CSW from a church leader on the Burma/Thailand border.

Pastor Simon spoke gratefully of the solidarity he had felt when a team from CSW visited the area recently.

An offering was taken up for the work of CSW and John Perry, Bishop of Chelmsford gave the blessing.

The event was hosted by CSW Chief Executive Mervyn Thomas and National Director Stuart Windsor.

You can also listen to a Voice For the Voiceless on Premier Christian Radio at 11.15am on Saturdays.

This show will give you the latest news on suffering Christians around the world.

Premier Radio can be heard in the Greater London area on 1305, 1413 and 1332 MW and on Sky Digital on Channel 873.
