Adventure Tour takes Stuart Windsor across the UK

12 Apr 2011

Following the successful launch of his new book, God's Adventurer, Reverend Stuart Windsor, National Director of Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), will be speaking at churches and bookshops across the UK throughout April to June, as part of The Adventure Tour.

The Adventure Tour will see Reverend Windsor criss-cross the country, taking his story and that of the persecuted Church to at least 20 venues across the UK, from London to Launceston, Glasgow and Belfast.

God's Adventurer is an exciting and moving account of Reverend Windsor's work with persecuted Christians, which has taken him around the world, often to conflict zones, where he has dodged bullets and potential death. Throughout the book, Reverend Windsor bears witness to God's miraculous provision and protection.

Bishop David Pytches described God's Adventurer as "Almost unputdownable – racy but nonetheless deeply serious, taking the reader to Iran, Pakistan, Mongolia, Southern Sudan. A great book to get and to give!"

Reverend Windsor has been CSW's National Director since 1993, working tirelessly for religious freedom on countless missions abroad. On The Adventure Tour he will share some of his many adventures, his heart for those who suffer for their faith, and words of encouragement for those keen to know what part they can play in helping the many Christians under pressure for their faith around the world.

Canon J John said, "Stuart Windsor is an absolute tonic! He is indeed God's Adventurer and God's Activist. What a great story."

Baroness Caroline Cox said, "Stuart has worked with me on over 60 missions. Together we have faced blizzards and artillery in Nagorno Karabakh. He is a trusted ally, a valued companion and true friend."
