We were honoured that Leah's mother, Rebecca Sharibu, joined us on Wednesday 19 February at the Nigerian High Commission in London.
Over the past two years we've gathered many times in prayer and protest, but this was the first time we were privileged to stand alongside Rebecca in person.
Eritrean gospel singer Helen Berhane (who herself was incarcerated for two and a half years) shared and led us in song. Like Leah, Helen’s situation looked utterly hopeless, but we continued to work on her case and pray, and today she lives in freedom. We will not rest until Leah is also free!
