Join us to consider the persecution of faith groups in Eritrea;to set such abuses in a wider human rights context in the country, and regionally in the Horn of Africa; and to discuss ‘what next’ for accountability for violations that have been deemed crimes against humanity, as well as how such atrocities can be prevented in future. Hear direct testimony from survivors of faith-based discrimination. The speaker presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.

- Helen Berhane, persecuted for her faith in Eritrea
- Abdurahman Sayed Bohashem, speaking on the situation of Eritrea’s Muslim community
- Fr. Athanasius Habtu Ghebre-Ab PhD, Director of External Relations, The Canonical Diaspora Diocese of the Eritrean Orthodox Church (North America, Europe and the Middle East) speaking on the situation of the Orthodox Church
