Feeling overwhelmed by the pandemic? Be inspired by the story of Helen Berhane, who was incarcerated soon after releasing a gospel album popular among young Eritrean Christians. She spent 32 months imprisoned in a shipping container in the Eritrean desert as well as time in underground cells at the Mai-Serwa military camp. She repeatedly refused to sign a paper recanting her faith.

By God’s grace, Helen was released in 2006 and is now living freely in Europe. Here, she shares a challenging and inspiring message for us in the face of the pandemic.
