You took a stand for faith and freedom: thank you!

Thank you so much to everyone who took a stand for faith and freedom with us on Wednesday 28 November as part of #RedWednesday. It was a truly amazing experience to see so many CSW supporters in Parliament Square, all wearing red and holding placards up despite the wet and windy weather!

One supporter, Wendy Tandy,  even came to celebrate her birthday with us! Singing her happy birthday beside the statue of Nelson Mandela was a real reminder of how dedicated and fantastic all our CSW supporters are – you’ve been a fantastic part of #RedWednesday and really helped to make it a success.

We were also grateful for the MPs who took time out of their schedules to come and see us on Parliament Square! It was a lot of fun taking pictures with everyone who showed up: check out our Twitter account @CSW_UK  to see some of the highlights from the evening.

The main highlight, though, was the inter-denominational prayer service outside of Westminster Cathedral with a live link to Aleppo. Praying together was a powerful reminder that God calls us to stand in solidarity with everyone who is suffering all over the world, no matter their faith.

Thank you again to everyone who got involved with this year’s #RedWednesday: we couldn’t have done it without you!
