There are 200 million people on the planet who suffer just because of what they believe.
They’re imprisoned, tortured, and killed. Their places of worship are shut down, their families are torn apart, and they’re forced to flee their homes. In fact, freedom of religion or belief is one of the most widely-violated human rights in the world.

But the tragedy is that so few people know that this is happening. One of the biggest challenges we face is raising public awareness of these devastating issues.

Donate a Tweet FAQ

What does ‘donating a tweet’ mean?

Donating a tweet is a really easy way to share information about a cause you believe in. Essentially you’re agreeing to send Twitter messages automatically on CSW’s behalf.
Just click the ‘Donate a Tweet a day’ button on CSW’s JustCoz page, to sign up. That will allow CSW to send one Twitter message a day on your behalf.

What will my donated tweets say?

Here’s an example of what your donated tweets will look like:

Did you know that up to 3,000 Christians are estimated to be imprisoned in Eritrea right now? http://bit.ly/IsBwd7 #DT @CSW_UK

Each day we’ll tweet a different fact, discussion question or prayer point about religious freedom.
Each tweet will also contain a link to CSW’s website so that your followers can find out more.
At the end of your tweet we’ll add #DT to show that it’s a donated tweet, and @csw_uk to show the source of the information.

How often will you tweet from my account and how long for?

We will send a tweet up to once a day, but usually just once a week.

How do I stop CSW from tweeting from my account?

To unsubscribe, first make sure you are logged in to the Twitter account you registered with. Next, go to http://justcoz.org/CSW_UK and simply click the ‘Stop Supporting’ button.

What is JustCoz?

JustCoz is an online relay system that lets you donate a tweet a day to help raise awareness for causes that matter to you.
